Monique Masters is an artist of life. Her art evolves into impressionist, expressionist and surrealist art with the occasional cartoon to be enjoyed. Monique is compassionate and enjoys creating works to sooth the souls of mothers, our elders and heterosexual women May you enjoy her uplifting creations in oils, acrylic, mixed media, and ink.
In previous decades Monique co created a substantial exhibition of Celtic and Oceanic monumental sculptures in ancient swamp kauri and commissioned to create a few public works in New Zealand. Other treasures are housed by an art patron, held in private collections and in the home of eco friendly art enthusiasts. Two exhibitions were supported by the New Zealand Ambassador to New Zealand in the Netherlands and a Dutch businessman/patron who became a partner. Monique and Kerry one way or another paid their “sponsor” with very valuable collectible works as well as fiscal exchange. The exhibitions were held in 2007 and 2011. Sculptures have also been exhibited in England and the USA (2023). Works were also exhibited in 2007 at the opening of the new New Zealand Embassy in the Hague, the Netherlands. Chris Carter opened the new New Zealand Embassy.
